New Zealand Shooter Livestreams Murders of 49 people on Facebook

A crazed man opened fire on dozens of people worshipping at a mosque in New Zealand, killing 49.

In yet another case of mass murder by gun, a man has executed dozens of people as he streamed the chaos on Facebook live.

Video appears to show the gunman’s perspective as he executed people inside the Masjid Al Noor mosque in Christchurch. Based on the angle, it is believed he used a GoPro camera to film his atrocities.

The video began with the man driving toward the mosque as he said, “Let’s get this party started.”

He then said, “There wasn’t even time to aim there was so many targets.” The video lasted 17 minutes in all. The link is currently being shared online, though investigators are urging people not to view or share it as they attempt to remove it. However, a 16,000 word manifest titled “The Great Replacement,” is believed to have been written and posted by the shooter. In it, he displays extreme anger and hatred for Muslims and blames them for many of society’s ills. He even praises Trump, saying he is “a symbol of renewed white identity and common purpose” though he is not effective “as a policymaker and leader.”

Police are continuing to piece together who he is, what exactly happened, and who all the victims are.
