Man Who Dressed as Spider-Man While Washing Children’s Hospital Windows Guilty of Child Porn

There was something sneaky about him.

Spider-Man became a villain!

A man who dressed in a Spider-Man costume to wash the windows of a children’s hospital was sentenced to 105 years in prison for child pornography.

Jarratt Turner, from Tennessee, tried to make friends with the families of patients at the hospital, even offering to babysit them. Unfortunately, parents did take him up on the offer, and authorities recovered multiple sexually explicit videos of a young boy and girl in his basement. He appeared in the videos with the children.

The children in question were between the ages of 1 and 2 and 1/2.

“The sentence imposed by the court should insure that this defendant will never have another opportunity to inflict his perverted sexual desires upon another innocent child,” said U.S. Attorney Don Cochran for the Middle District of Tennessee.

Turner distributed the videos online but was caught when the owner of a business helped identify him after the used the business’s public wifi to share the videos.

“The fact he would film, and then upload to the internet, videos of himself molesting an infant and toddler, then take elaborate steps to conceal his activities, represents the extreme danger he posed to the community,” said Assistant Special Agent in Charge Robert Hammer of Homeland Security.

He pleaded guilty to 16 charges of child pornography and was sentenced this week.
