A man was struck by gunfire at Bush Gardens on the 4th of July.
A man was shot while celebrating Independence Day at Busch Gardens. It is believed that the gunfire was from a celebratory shot fired by someone nearby but outside the park, which ended up hitting the man in the shoulder.
He was given first aid by park medics and transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
According to Fox News 13 Tampa, a bullet can travel between 2 and 5 miles if shot upwards into the sky.
