These are the times, folks.
27-year-old Robert Coleman, from Virginia, has been charged with murder after punching a woman in the face for calling him a racial slur. She later died from her injuries.
The woman, Fedelia Montiel-Benitez, allegedly called Coleman the N-word during an argument in a 7-Eleven, fatally injuring her. According to reports, Benitez was intoxicated and began arguing with Coleman, calling him the N-word, which set him off. He was seen chasing her outside, where he punched her. She remained in a coma for 10 days until she died at the hospital.
Coleman was charged with second-degree murder. He is expected to spend 10 years in prison once sentenced in May.
